NEVER GIVE A BORING PRESENTATION AGAIN!

So, one day I’m attending a conference in Las Vegas. A gentleman was speaking about positioning a business for sale. This was a topic I was really interested in and ready to be engaged. The only problem is that I was bored to death! The presenter had a very serious and dry delivery and demeanor, had no idea how to use a microphone so half of what he said wasn’t heard, and he relied solely on power point slides to punch up his message. What can you imagine the result was? I can’t remember one thing he said. What should have been an engaging presentation nearly lulled me to sleep.

On another occasion I was hired as entertainment for a Fortune 500 company’s annual awards banquet and presentation. I was scheduled to follow the main speaker – the company’s CEO. A nervous man with sweat beading his brow stepped to the podium and gripped it for dear life as he read his notes, head down never once engaging or acknowledging the audience. What could have been a morale boosting moment, a motivational and inspirational speech, was just another boring and tedious speech for the CEO that the employees were forced to endure for one more year.

This never has to be true again! This scenario never has to play out for you. I am dedicated to eradicating boring, monotous, and tedious presentations from the business world one person at a time. My workshop, Work The Crowd is designed to give you the presentational tools to make you an effective speaker and presenter.

Who am I to make such bold claims? My name is John B. Pyka and I have been a professional speaker and entertainer on stage for over 20 years. I have also been the President of Flip-Side Productions, an entertainment national live event production company for the last 10 years. Prior to that I was the director of Sales & Marketing for a major Nashville based record label. Every day I am presenting or selling to some group. My skills as an entertainer directly translated to the sales, marketing and business management arena, and have helped me build a successful company. However, you do not need to be a professional speaker or entertainer to engage an audience, you just need the proper tools. Work The Crowd will give you those tools. This workshop will teach you how to apply the techniques of professional speaking and entertainment to business and sales presentations.
